  • Membership Application Information & Forms
    If you are applying for membership at TRBC, you can read our Confession of Faith and our Church Constitution on line, as well as print out our Membership Application form.  There is also a Supervision of Minors form you must fill out if you desire to work in our nursery or in any other form of childcare.  Click here for the Spanish (Espanol) version of our church constitution and here for the Spanish (Espanol) version of the membership application form and here for the Spanish (Espanol) version of the 1689 Confession.
  • Schedules
    There are many ways to serve at TRBC and support the work of the ministry.  If you are an Usher, or a Scripture-Reader, or a Musician, or a Nursery Worker, or someone who brings food to our monthly Fellowship Meals, you can click here for the latest schedules.  For all other church events, click here.
  • Spanish Ministry
    Our Spanish-speaking folks meet for worship every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the Spanish Ministry Room.  They also have a Wednesday night Bible Study and Prayer time at 7:00 p.m.  Check out the church calendar for other Spanish Ministry events, such as Fellowship Meals, Women's Group, etc.
  • Men's Fellowship Study
    The Men's Fellowship Study meets on the 1st Saturday of every month at 8:00 a.m. in the High School Room.  They are currently going chapter by chapter through "Disciplines of a Godly Man," by R. Kent Hughes.
  • Ladies Fellowship Study
    The Ladies Fellowship Study meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  They are currently going through "Disciplines of a Godly Woman," by Barbara Hughes.  A Ladies Retreat is scheduled for the weekend of May 15-17.
  • Youth Group
    The Youth Group is made up of kids, ages 12-18.  They meet every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Room for prayer, Bible Study, and discussion.  They also have a monthly event (usually on a Friday or a Saturday).  These include either a service project (like Operation Christmas Child) or a fun activity (like laser tag, bowling, scavenger hunts, gondola rides, etc.).  By far, the biggest events of the year for the Youth Group are the Annual Youth Summer Beach Camp (four days in San Clemente) and the Annual Youth Christmas Formal in December (the kids dress to the nines, eat a gourmet meal, and watch a 'Year in Review' video).  Every Youth Group activity includes a serious time of prayer and exhortation from God's Word.
  • College & Career Group
    This group is for singles and couples (ages 19 & up).  They meet every Sunday night with Pastor Horist, following the Evening Worship service for Bible Study & Fellowship..
  • Convalescent Home Ministry
    Every Sunday (around 3:00 p.m.), a small group of TRBC volunteers go to a local Convalescent Home to minister to the elderly and disabled.  One man will lead the group in a couple of hymns and bring a short message from God's Word.  The group, then, spends time visiting the patients and engaging them in spiritual conversation.   • Sunday School
    TRBC offers Sunday School for all ages during the normal School Year (September through December, January through May).  Classes begin every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., except in the Summer (June through August), during which time the teachers take a rest.  The Sunday School Schedule, along with teachers' names and memory verses is located here.  If you desire to download the Adult Class Handout Notes, please click here.
  • Vacation Bible School (VBS)
    Every summer, usually the last week in June, TRBC offers a five-day Vacation Bible School for children, ages 4 to 11.  Please click here for more information about this year's VBS.
  • SCARBC Quarterly Meetings
    The last Sunday of January, April, July and October of every year, the Southern California Association of Reformed Baptist Churches come together for an evening meeting and a Fellowship Meal.  Historically, the January meeting is held at the Reformed Baptist Church in Riverside.  The April meeting is held at the El Monte Reformed Baptist Church.  The July meeting is held here at TRBC in La Mirada.  The October meeting is held at the Sovereign Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Ontario.  The combined worship service begins at 5:00 p.m. and is followed by a Fellowship Meal.   • Fall Bible Conference
    TRBC hosts Dr. James White on the evening of Friday, October 23rd at 6:30 pm. The topic of his two lectures is "Theology Matters: Playing Around With Predestination". For more information about our Guest Speaker, Dr. James R. White visit Alpha & Omega Ministries.
  • ARBCA & IRBS
    TRBC belongs to a national association of churches called ARBCA (Association of Reformed Baptist Churches of America).  This association is all about local churches of like confession cooperating in the interest of foreign missions, home missions, publications and ministerial training (IRBS - Institute of Reformed Baptist Studies).
